Made to show how garbage such as plastic bags are often ‘recycled’ by making them into more beautiful things such as blankets via looping and weaving them together or bath mats used for absorbing water, I created this piece based off of the gorgeous images and dresses of ballerinas. I wanted to explain how plastic bags could be made into a delicate, beautiful form.
